Frequently Asked Questions

What invoice templates are available?
Six templates: Classic (traditional layout), Modern (clean, contemporary), Minimal (sparse, focused), Bold (strong visual hierarchy), Elegant (refined, sophisticated), and Compact (space-efficient). All are print-optimized.
Can clients pay directly from the invoice?
Yes. When sending an invoice, you can enable a Stripe payment link. Your client receives the invoice with a "Pay Now" button that takes them to Stripe checkout. The invoice status updates automatically when they pay.
What invoice statuses are available?
Draft (being prepared), Sent (delivered to client), Overdue (past due date), Paid (payment received), and Void (cancelled). Status transitions are controlled. For example, a paid invoice can only be voided, not reverted to draft.
Do I need Stripe to send invoices?
No. You can send invoices without Stripe. Clients will see your bank details and pay manually. Stripe is only needed if you want a direct payment link embedded in the invoice.
Can I invoice in different currencies?
Yes. Set the currency when creating a project, and all invoices for that project use that currency. Line item totals and invoice totals are calculated in the chosen currency.
