Account Settings & Preferences
The Settings page is where you manage everything about your Leenkies account -- from your personal information and login credentials to your timezone, currency, and third-party integrations. Keeping these settings up to date ensures that your public pages display the correct information, your appointments and analytics use the right timezone, and your products are priced in the currency you want.
Navigating to Settings
To access your account settings:
- From your dashboard, click Settings in the sidebar navigation.
- The Settings page loads, organized into clearly labeled sections: Account, Preferences, Integrations, and Dangerous Zone.

Account Settings
The Account section contains your core personal information and login credentials.
Name
Your display name is shown on your public Leenkies pages and used in email communications. To update it:
- Edit the Name field with your new display name.
- Click Save to apply the change.
Your name update takes effect immediately across all your public pages.
Your email address is used for account login (if you use email/password authentication), receiving order notifications, appointment confirmations, and other system communications. To update it:
- Edit the Email field with your new email address.
- Click Save to confirm the change.
Make sure you have access to the new email address, as important account notifications will be sent there going forward.
Username
Your username determines your public Leenkies URL. If your username is johndoe, your pages are accessible at leenkies.com/johndoe. This is the URL you share on social media, business cards, and everywhere else.
To change your username:
- Edit the Username field with your desired new username.
- Click Save to apply the change.
Important: Changing your username changes your public URL. If your previous username was johndoe and you change it to jdoe, your pages will no longer be accessible at leenkies.com/johndoe -- they will only be available at leenkies.com/jdoe. Any links, bookmarks, or references to your old URL will stop working. Make sure to update your social media bios, email signatures, business cards, and any other places where your old URL appears.
Pro Tip: Choose your username carefully and try to avoid changing it frequently. Every time you change your username, you need to update every place where your Leenkies link is shared. If you do need to change it, use short links pointing to your Leenkies page -- those short links will continue to work regardless of your username change, since you can update their destination.
Password
The password section lets you set or update your account password.
-
If you signed up with email and password -- You can change your password at any time by entering a new password in the Password field and saving.
-
If you signed up with Google OAuth -- You may not have a password set on your account. The Password field allows you to set one if you want the option to log in with email and password in addition to Google OAuth. Setting a password does not affect your ability to continue logging in with Google.
To update your password:
- Enter your new password in the Password field.
- Click Save to apply the change.
Preferences
The Preferences section lets you configure settings that affect how Leenkies behaves for your account.
Timezone
Your timezone setting is used in several important areas:
-
Availability and appointments -- When you set your available hours for booking types, those hours are interpreted in your configured timezone. When visitors see your available time slots, they are converted appropriately based on the timezone you have set here.
-
Analytics -- Your analytics dashboard uses your timezone to determine day boundaries when aggregating daily data. This ensures that "today" in your analytics matches your actual local date.
-
Order and booking timestamps -- Times displayed in your orders and bookings sections are shown in your configured timezone.
To set your timezone:
- Select your timezone from the Timezone dropdown. The list includes all standard IANA timezones.
- Click Save to apply the change.
Pro Tip: If you travel frequently or relocate, remember to update your timezone setting. An incorrect timezone can cause confusion with appointment availability -- your available hours might appear at unexpected times for your visitors.
Currency
The currency setting determines the default currency used for pricing your digital products. Leenkies supports 11 different currency options, giving you the flexibility to price your products in the currency that makes the most sense for your market and audience.
To set your currency:
- Select your preferred currency from the Currency dropdown.
- Click Save to apply the change.
Your currency selection affects how prices are displayed on your product pages and in the checkout flow. Choose the currency that your target audience is most familiar with to reduce friction during the purchasing process.

Integrations
The Integrations section provides an overview of the third-party services you can connect to your Leenkies account. Two integrations are available:
Stripe Connect
Stripe Connect allows you to receive payments directly to your own Stripe account when customers purchase your digital products or book paid appointments. The integration status is displayed here, showing whether Stripe is connected or not.
For detailed setup instructions, see the Connecting Stripe guide.
Google Calendar
Google Calendar integration syncs your Leenkies appointment bookings with your Google Calendar, ensuring that your availability is always accurate and preventing double-bookings. The integration status is displayed here, showing whether Google Calendar is connected or not.
For detailed setup instructions, see the Connecting Google Calendar guide.
Both integrations can be connected and disconnected from this section. The detailed configuration and usage of each integration are covered in their respective guides.
