Rich Text & Media Blocks
While link blocks are the backbone of a link-in-bio page, you often need to say more than a title and a URL can convey. The Rich Text, Media, and Content List blocks give you the tools to add formatted writing, visual content, and structured information to your pages. Together, they let you tell your story, showcase visual work, and present information in organized formats.
Rich Text block
The Rich Text block adds a formatted text editor to your page. Unlike a plain text field, the Rich Text block gives you a full formatting toolbar so you can create polished, readable content directly on your Leenkies page.
What you can do
The Rich Text editor supports standard text formatting features that you would expect from any modern text editor:
- Bold and italic for emphasis.
- Headings for structuring longer content.
- Bulleted and numbered lists for organized information.
- Links embedded within your text.
- Blockquotes for highlighting key statements.
The editor provides a clean writing experience. You type your content directly into the editor field, highlight text to format it, and see the results in real time on the canvas.

Use cases
The Rich Text block is versatile and works well in many situations:
- About page bios -- Write a longer introduction that goes beyond the 150-character header bio. Tell your story, explain your mission, or describe your background in detail.
- Announcements -- Share news, updates, or important information with your audience. A rich text block at the top of your Home page can serve as a dynamic announcement banner.
- Instructions or guides -- If you offer services or products that need explanation, a rich text block can provide step-by-step instructions or usage guides.
- Blog-style posts -- While Leenkies is not a full blogging platform, a rich text block can hold a short article, reflection, or thought piece.
Heading options
The Rich Text block includes the standard Heading section. You can add a title (for example, "About Me" or "My Story") that appears above the text content. Choose a heading style or set it to "None" if the text should stand alone without a label.
Media block
The Media block lets you add visual content to your page -- either an uploaded image or an embedded YouTube video. It is your go-to block for adding visual elements that break up text and grab attention.
Choosing a media type
When you open the Media block settings, the first choice is the media type:
- Image -- Upload an image file from your device. The image is displayed on your page at full width within the block. Use this for photos, graphics, banners, or any visual content you have as a file.
- YouTube -- Paste a YouTube video or YouTube Shorts URL. The video is embedded directly into your page so visitors can watch without leaving your site. This is perfect for showcasing your latest video, a demo, or a tutorial.

When you switch between Image and YouTube, the source field resets so you can enter the appropriate content for the selected type.
Image uploads
When the media type is set to Image, an image upload field appears. Click to browse your device and select an image file. The uploaded image is previewed in the settings panel so you can verify it looks correct before saving.
YouTube embeds
When the media type is set to YouTube, a text field appears where you paste the YouTube video URL. Leenkies accepts both standard YouTube video URLs and YouTube Shorts URLs. The video is embedded as a responsive player that adapts to the visitor's screen size.
Heading options
Like other blocks, the Media block has an optional Heading section for adding a title above the media content. The heading style can be configured or hidden entirely.
Use cases
- Hero images -- Place a Media block at the top of your page (just below the Header) with a striking image that sets the tone for your brand.
- Video introductions -- Embed a YouTube video where you introduce yourself, explain your services, or demonstrate a product.
- Portfolio highlights -- Showcase a key project image or a video walkthrough of your work.
- Event promotion -- Add an image for an upcoming event or a video recap of a past one.
Content List block
The Content List block displays a structured list of items, each with a title and a description. It is designed for presenting information in a clean, scannable format where each item consists of a short label and an accompanying explanation.
How it works
Each item in the Content List has two fields:
- Label -- A short title or heading for the item (for example, "Phase 1" or "Strategy").
- Description -- A longer explanation that accompanies the label.
You can add as many items as you need by clicking the add button. Items can be reordered by dragging their handles, just like links in the Links block.

Use cases
The Content List block shines in situations where you need to present structured information:
- Service descriptions -- List your services with brief explanations of what each one includes.
- Process steps -- Walk visitors through your workflow: "Step 1: Discovery Call," "Step 2: Proposal," "Step 3: Delivery."
- Feature lists -- Highlight the features of a product or offering with clear labels and descriptions.
- Event agendas -- Lay out the schedule for a workshop, webinar, or conference.
- Pricing tiers -- Summarize what is included in each pricing level.
Heading options
The Content List block includes the standard Heading section with a title, optional description, and style selector.
Pro Tip: Pair a Rich Text block with a Media block for maximum impact. A compelling image followed by well-written text creates a storytelling rhythm that keeps visitors engaged and scrolling through your page.
