Deleting Your Account

Permanently delete your Leenkies account and all associated data.

Deleting Your Account

WARNING: Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. There's no way to recover your data. Please read this guide carefully before proceeding.

You can permanently delete your Leenkies account and all associated data. Here's what happens, what's removed, what isn't, and how to prepare.

What Gets Deleted

Open Settings from the sidebar. On the Account tab, scroll to the Dangerous Zone section at the bottom to find Delete Account.

The following data is permanently and irreversibly removed:

  • Your profile -- Name, email, username, and credentials. Your public URL (leenkies.com/yourusername) will return a 404.

  • All pages -- Every page (Home, About, Shop, Portfolio) including all blocks, content, images, and media.

  • All products -- Product descriptions, pricing, images, and uploaded files. File downloads will no longer be accessible to customers.

  • All orders -- Complete order history, customer information, payment details, and fulfillment records.

  • All bookings -- Past and upcoming bookings, customer details, and confirmations.

  • All contacts -- Your entire contact list and CRM data, including form submissions.

  • All analytics data -- Page views, clicks, device data, geographic data, referrers, and historical trends.

  • All short links -- Every short link and its analytics. Clicks will show a 404 error.

  • Theme and customizations -- All theme settings, colors, typography, and layout preferences.

  • Integrations disconnected -- Payment provider and Google Calendar integrations are disconnected.

What Is NOT Deleted

Certain data lives outside Leenkies and is not affected by account deletion:

  • Google Calendar events -- Existing calendar events from appointment bookings stay in your Google Calendar. The integration is disconnected, but synced events aren't deleted. Remove them manually if desired.

  • Payment provider transactions -- Payment transactions (both received and paid) remain in your payment provider account (Stripe, Paystack, etc.). The integration is disconnected, but your transaction history isn't altered.

Pro Tip: Before deleting, review your Google Calendar for upcoming appointment events and your payment provider dashboard for transaction records. These persist after deletion.

Confirmation Process

  1. In the Dangerous Zone section, click Delete Account.
  2. A confirmation dialog warns that this is permanent and can't be undone.
  3. You may need to type a confirmation phrase or enter your password.
  4. Click Confirm Deletion to proceed.

Once confirmed, deletion begins immediately -- your account, data, and public pages are removed, and you're logged out.

Before You Delete: Recommended Steps

We strongly recommend these steps before proceeding:

Export Your Contacts

Export your contact list from the Contacts section. Names, emails, and form submissions are permanently lost after deletion.

Download Your Invoices

Open Billing (click your name at the bottom of the sidebar and select Billing) and download PDF copies of all invoices. You'll need these for tax reporting or expense tracking.

Export Your Analytics

Go to Analytics, set the time period to 30 days, and click Export to download a CSV. Repeat for different periods or page filters if needed.

Save Your Content

Copy any product descriptions, page content, or text you want to keep to a separate document. This content can't be recovered after deletion.

Notify Your Audience

Your URL will return a 404 after deletion. Update references on social media, business cards, email signatures, and other channels to point elsewhere.

Pro Tip: Not sure about permanent deletion? Consider cancelling your subscription instead -- it preserves all your data while stopping future charges. You can resubscribe later and pick up where you left off. See Managing Your Subscription for details.
