Viewing Invoices
Every payment generates a PDF invoice you can download from the Billing page for expense tracking, tax reporting, or sharing with your accountant.
Navigating to Your Billing History
- Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then select Billing from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll past the plan card to the Billing History section.
- Your invoices are listed chronologically, most recent first.

Invoice Information
Each invoice shows:
-

-
Amount -- Total charged, including plan price and any applicable taxes.
-
Status -- Color-coded for quick scanning:
- Paid -- Payment processed and settled.
- Open -- Invoice generated but payment not yet received (pending or payment method issue).
- Void -- Invoice cancelled, no payment collected (e.g., prorated adjustment from a plan change).
Downloading PDF Invoices
- Find the invoice you want to download.

Each PDF contains complete billing details for expense tracking and tax reporting.
Pro Tip: Download invoices after each billing cycle and store them in a dedicated folder. Much easier to find during tax season.
Auto-Generated by Stripe
All invoices are automatically generated by Stripe, Leenkies' payment processor:
- Created automatically with every successful payment -- no action needed.
- Accurate and consistent, pulled directly from transaction data.
- Available immediately after each payment is processed.
- Standard PDF format, suitable for any accounting system.
You don't need to interact with Stripe directly -- everything's available on the Leenkies Billing page.
Use Cases for Invoices
Expense Tracking
Download each invoice and log it in your expense tracking system. The amount, date, and description provide everything you need for accurate record-keeping.
Tax Reporting
Software subscriptions may be tax-deductible. Your invoices serve as official receipts -- provide them to your accountant at the end of the fiscal year.
Accounting and Bookkeeping
Import invoices into accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, FreshBooks, etc.) as expense entries via direct upload or manual entry.
Reimbursement
If your employer or client covers your subscription, attach the PDF invoice to your expense report for reimbursement.
Pro Tip: Need to share billing history with a bookkeeper? Download all relevant invoices as PDFs and send them in a batch -- faster and more reliable than granting account access.
