FAQ & Testimonials Blocks
Two of the most effective ways to build trust and reduce friction on your page are answering common questions upfront and letting your customers speak for you. The FAQ block handles the first, and the Testimonials block handles the second. Together, they remove doubts and give visitors the confidence to take action.
FAQ block
The FAQ block displays a list of questions and answers in an accordion format -- each question is a clickable header that expands to reveal the answer beneath it. This compact design keeps your page tidy while making detailed information accessible to visitors who want it.
How it works
The FAQ block is found in the Content category of the block palette. Once added to your page, click on it to open its settings panel.
Each FAQ item has two fields:
- Question -- The question text that visitors will see as the clickable header. Write questions in a natural, conversational tone using the exact phrasing your audience would use.
- Answer -- The answer text that appears when the question is expanded. Be clear and concise, but do not be afraid to provide thorough answers.
To add your first Q&A pair, fill in the question and answer fields that appear by default. To add more pairs, click the "Add New FAQ" button at the bottom of the list.
FAQ items can be reordered by dragging their grip handles. Put your most frequently asked or most important questions at the top so visitors see them first.

On the page
On your published page, the FAQ block renders as a clean accordion. Each question appears as a row. When a visitor clicks a question, it smoothly expands to reveal the answer. Clicking it again (or clicking a different question) collapses it. Only one question is expanded at a time, keeping the layout compact.

Use cases
- Service FAQs -- Answer questions about your services: pricing, turnaround time, what is included, cancellation policies.
- Product FAQs -- Explain file formats, licensing terms, refund policies, or how digital delivery works.
- Booking FAQs -- Clarify what to expect during a consultation, how to prepare, and what happens after the call.
- General FAQs -- Address common inquiries about who you are, what you do, and how to get in touch.
Heading options
The FAQ block includes the standard Heading section. Add a title like "Frequently Asked Questions" or "Common Questions" and choose a heading style to match your page design.
Pro Tip: Keep your FAQ answers concise but complete. If an answer requires more than two or three sentences, consider linking to a separate resource for the full details. The goal is to remove friction, not overwhelm visitors with walls of text.
Testimonials block
The Testimonials block displays customer quotes, reviews, or endorsements. Social proof is one of the most powerful tools for building trust, and this block makes it easy to showcase what others have said about you and your work.
How it works
The Testimonials block is found in the Content category of the block palette. Once added, click on it to open its settings panel.
Each testimonial has the following fields:
- Name -- The name of the person providing the testimonial.
- Company -- The company or role of the reviewer (for example, "CEO at Acme Corp" or "Freelance Designer"). This field is optional but adds credibility.
- Review -- The actual quote or testimonial text. There is a soft limit of 200 characters to encourage concise, impactful quotes.
Click "Add New Review" to add additional testimonials. There is no hard limit on the number you can add, but three to six testimonials typically provide strong social proof without becoming repetitive.
Testimonials can be reordered by dragging their grip handles.

Layout options
The Testimonials block includes a Layout section that lets you choose how testimonials are displayed:
Grid layout
The Grid layout arranges testimonials in a responsive grid. You can choose between 1 column (testimonials stacked vertically, each at full width) and 2 columns (testimonials side by side). The grid layout is ideal when you have a smaller number of testimonials and want each one to be fully visible without interaction.
Carousel layout
The Carousel layout displays testimonials in a horizontal slider. Visitors can swipe or use navigation controls to browse through them. When carousel mode is selected, two additional options appear:
- Show Navigation Arrows -- Display left and right arrow buttons so visitors can navigate between testimonials.
- Show Dots -- Display pagination dots below the carousel that indicate how many testimonials exist and which one is currently visible.
The carousel layout is perfect when you have many testimonials and want to keep the page compact while still showcasing all of them.

Appearance styles
The Appearance section offers two visual styles:
- Card -- Each testimonial is displayed inside a bordered card with a background. This style gives each review a distinct, polished container and works well in both grid and carousel layouts.
- Spotlight -- A more dramatic presentation that highlights the testimonial text with a featured, spotlighted look. This style is especially effective for single-column layouts or when you want to draw maximum attention to the quotes.
Heading options
The Testimonials block includes the standard Heading section (with title and style options, but without a description field). Add a heading like "What People Say," "Client Reviews," or "Testimonials" to introduce the section.
Pro Tip: Choose your strongest testimonials and put them first. If using the grid layout, three testimonials in a two-column grid creates a visually balanced section. If using the carousel, lead with your most compelling quote since it appears first when the page loads.
