Tracking Pixels (GA4, Meta, TikTok)

Connect Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or TikTok Pixel to your Leenkies pages to track visitor activity and ad conversions.

Tracking Pixels

Connect your own analytics and advertising pixels to track visitor activity on your public Leenkies pages. Leenkies supports three tracking platforms:

  • Google Analytics 4 -- track page views, product views, and conversions
  • Meta (Facebook) Pixel -- build retargeting audiences and track ad conversions
  • TikTok Pixel -- track conversions from TikTok ad campaigns

Setting Up

Go to Settings > Integrations and scroll to the Tracking Pixels card. Enter your pixel or measurement ID for each platform you want to connect, then click Save.

Finding Your IDs

Google Analytics 4

  1. Go to analytics.google.com
  2. Click Admin (gear icon) in the bottom left
  3. Click Create > Property to create a new GA4 property
  4. Follow the prompts to name your property
  5. When asked to create a Web data stream, enter your Leenkies page URL as the website URL (e.g., leenkies.com/yourusername)
  6. Copy the Measurement ID -- it starts with G- (e.g., G-ABC123DEF4)

Pro Tip: If you already use GA4 on another website, create a separate property for your Leenkies page rather than reusing the same Measurement ID. This keeps your Leenkies traffic separate from your main site's data, making reports easier to read.

Meta (Facebook) Pixel

  1. Go to Meta Events Manager
  2. Click Connect Data Sources and select Web
  3. Name your pixel and enter your Leenkies page URL when prompted (e.g., https://leenkies.com/yourusername)
  4. Select Meta Pixel only as the connection method
  5. Choose Install code manually
  6. Copy the Pixel ID -- it's a 15-16 digit number shown at the top of the page (e.g., 1234567890123456)

Pro Tip: You don't need to install the code from Meta's setup wizard -- just copy the Pixel ID and paste it into Leenkies. Leenkies handles the code installation for you.

TikTok Pixel

  1. Go to TikTok Ads Manager
  2. Navigate to Tools > Events
  3. Click Connect Data Source and select Web
  4. Enter your Leenkies page URL when prompted (e.g., leenkies.com/yourusername)
  5. Select TikTok Pixel and click Next
  6. Choose Manually Install Pixel Code
  7. Copy the Pixel ID shown at the top of the page (e.g., ABCDEF1234567890)

Pro Tip: Same as Meta -- you only need the Pixel ID. Skip the code installation steps in TikTok's wizard. Leenkies injects the pixel code automatically.

What Gets Tracked

Once connected, your pixels automatically track these events:

Visitor actionGA4 eventMeta Pixel eventTikTok Pixel event
Views your pagepage_viewPageViewpage()
Clicks a productview_itemViewContentViewContent
Completes a purchasepurchasePurchasePurchase
Submits contact formgenerate_leadLeadLead
Clicks a booking typebook_appointmentScheduleLead

Page views are tracked automatically. All other events fire when visitors interact with your content.

Privacy & Consent

Leenkies automatically manages visitor consent for you:

  • In GDPR regions (EU/EEA), tracking scripts are blocked by default until the visitor accepts cookies via the consent banner
  • In other regions, tracking is enabled by default
  • Visitors can change their consent preference at any time through the cookie banner

You don't need to set up any consent mechanism yourself -- Leenkies handles it.

Verifying Your Setup

After saving your pixel IDs, visit your public Leenkies page and verify the pixels are firing:

  • Google Analytics: Open your GA4 real-time report to see your visit appear
  • Meta Pixel: Install the Meta Pixel Helper Chrome extension and visit your page
  • TikTok Pixel: Install the TikTok Pixel Helper Chrome extension and visit your page

Disconnecting a Pixel

To remove a tracking pixel, clear the field in Settings > Integrations > Tracking Pixels and click Save. The tracking script will stop loading on your public pages immediately.
