Sharing Your Products
Every product you create gets two ways to share it directly with customers -- a dedicated product page at a clean URL, and a short link that stays stable even if the product name changes.
Product Pages
When you create a product, Leenkies automatically generates a dedicated public page at:
leenkies.com/{your-username}/product/{product-slug}
The slug is generated from your product name -- for example, a product called "Brand Strategy Guide" gets the page leenkies.com/alice/product/brand-strategy-guide.
What Visitors See
The product page shows everything a customer needs to decide:
- Product image and title with pricing
- Summary and description
- A Checkout (or custom) button that opens the checkout flow directly
The page has the same header and footer as your profile -- your name, photo, bio, and social links -- so it fits your brand without any extra setup.
Sharing the Product Page
You can share the direct URL (leenkies.com/{username}/product/{slug}) anywhere -- social media posts, email newsletters, DMs, or printed materials.
Pro Tip: Product pages have full SEO metadata (title, description, Open Graph tags) so links shared to social media show a rich preview card automatically.
When You Rename a Product
If you update your product name, the slug regenerates automatically to match the new name. Leenkies keeps the old slug in its history -- visitors who follow an old link are redirected to the current page automatically (301 redirect), so no shared links break.
Auto-Generated Short Links
Every product also gets an auto-generated short link -- a compact leenkies.com/l/xxxxxx URL that points to the product page. You'll find the copy button on the product card in your Products list.
Copying the Short Link
- Go to your Products page.
- Find the product card.
- Click the link icon in the card footer.
- The short link is copied to your clipboard.
Short Links Stay Stable
Unlike the direct page URL (which changes when you rename the product), the short link always redirects to the current version of your product page -- even after renaming. Use the short link whenever you want a permanent, shareable URL that never breaks.
Viewing Analytics
Auto-generated product short links appear in your Short Links list alongside any links you've created manually. Click the link to view click analytics broken down by device, location, and time.
Note: The destination of an auto-generated short link is managed automatically -- you cannot change where it points. If you want to redirect a short link to a different URL entirely, create a new manual short link instead.
In Your Products Block
The product page and short link are for direct sharing -- your Products block on your home or shop page still shows products in a grid the same way it always has. Customers can browse there as usual, or you can send them directly to a specific product page.
